2nd October : Batik Day

Being recognized by UNESCO as an Indonesian cultural contribution to the world is a valid reason to celebrate this beautiful traditional fabric.

One of my favorite batik is : Batik Madura. Batik Madura has the rich colors and patterns. Lovely, isn't it?

Hopefully, someday in 2nd October, each year : people around the world will wear batik and 2nd October will be recognize as : International Batik Day :)

Autumn Leaves

Wardrobe Re-Fashion #2

You'll go to the semi-formal event and still don't know what clothes you should wear. Can i wear the old clothes in the closet?
We'll see. You have a pink sweater, long sleeves, but the bottom is not too long.
You have a dress that used to be your semi-formal dress, a brown overalls. But of course, now you can't wear that dress anymore.Unless...uhm...how about the pink sweater. Combining the two, then add accents with pink flowers corsace to make it look more attractive.
Still in doubt, if your old clothes can still be combined and matched to your hijab dress?

Autumn Colors Inspiration

Don't you love the colors of autumn?
Actually, in Indonesia there is no such thing as the fall or autumn season. But, at the end of August to October, the colors of autumn, as well as in four seasons country, can be found here. Leaves are falling. Mahogany tree flowers burst. Kapok fur fly. Seeds and Pine needles that fall. Dried moss on the trees.
The leaves turn yellow, red, and brown. Aren't all the colours were very inspiring?

So, the next edition of ciclo sole will be an autumn picnic! Can't hardly wait :)
